Videoton FC return to league cup action on Wednesday, fresh from their week away in Belek, Turkey. José Gomes' side will face Debrecen in a two-legged affair. The first leg will take place at the Sostoi stadium in Szekesfehervar, with vidi looking to take a lead into the second leg. Debrecen finished up in group E of the league cup this season, having won four and suffering two defeats. They collected 12 points, which was the same as Eger FC, but Debrecen ended top of their group, just as Videoton did in theirs.

Vac have been suffering with serious problems now for a while, but they can switch their attentions to Hungarian cup action next Saturday. The red and blues of Fehervar will travel to Vac, hoping to establish a good lead to take into the second leg. However, it is not yet sure whether the game will take place. One of the major issues facing Vac is the venue of the game in question. There are problems with the use of the Vaci stadium, which have resulted in these difficulties.
