Hungarian sport's newspaper Nemzeti Sport, just like in all other years, have prepared a division one playing list. The journalists at the paper compiled details of each of the games over both the autumn and spring season's. The main focus was placed on the playing performances of the players. There was a total of 485 players who played a part in the league season, but this was filtered down to 183 players, who had played a minimum of 15 games. Another factor calculated in the statistics was that the players had to play at least 30 minutes in a game or have played a key role in a match, just as Perics did recently when he came on against Ujpest, to score two late goals.

The newspaper looked at 16 matches involving Nikolics, and his average worked out at 6,375, making him the best player in the first division. It is interesting to note that there are two Hungarian players in the top five, with both Niko and Debrecen's Jozsef Varga featuring. Diosgyőr's Spanish player Luque was named second, while Debrecen's Bouadla came in at third. Honved's former striker Danilo was next up at fourth.
