Videoton make the journey east to Miskolc on Sunday for an important OTP league fixture. The home match with Diosgyőr, back in the summer, went according to paperform, in a game that will be best remembered for the great Brachi free kick, that rounded off a good 2-0 home win. It is vital that Vidi get something out of the match to keep the pressure on the top two, both of who will be at home over the weekend. Second placed Győri ETO dismissed their manager on Monday, adding a further ingredient into the top of the table excitement.

It is another busy weekend of football, with Győri ETO kicking off against Siofok on Friday. Győr fired their manager last week, and former boss, Attila Pinter has returned for his second spell in charge. The home team should prove too strong for a Siofok side, that are the draw specialists, but who really need the three points to move away from the danger places at the bottom. Anything less than a win for Győr, would mean that they fall further behind leaders Debrecen at the top.

Honved are favourites to emerge winners over ZTE, who have yet to record a win this season. Another defeat for Laszlo Prukner's side will virtually consign them to second division football next season. Honved picked up a good 2-1 away win at Vasas last Friday, and another win will keep them in contention for the top three. Paks take on Ujpest at home on Saturday, with Ujpest really needing a win to remain in mid table. The violets have a series of tough matches coming up, and they will be keen to avoid slipping back into the relegation picture. Kaposvar will be looking to bounce back from their 2-0 defeat against Videoton last weekend. They have a good chance of doing just that with Papa visiting them. Papa enjoyed a win last week, and another win would cement their mid table position.

Haladas have another home match against Vasas. The Szombathely side picked up a point from their 1-1 draw with Győr on Sunday. However, they should prove too strong for Florian Urban's Vasas side, who will do well to stay out of the bottom two places over the spring season. This is a game where a draw would do no favours to either side. Debrecen should have little problems over coming Kecskemet in the final match on Saturday. However, Kecskemet are never easy to play against, as their 2-0 win at the Sostoi stadium in the autumn showed.

Sunday sees two matches with Pecs entertaining Ferencvaros down south. Pecs have done well this season, having been promoted last year, and they could prove too strong for an improving Ferencvaros side, under the management of Lajos Detari. The final match of the weekend is the big game in Miskolc, which has been covered above.
