What are your first impressions of the club?
I know the majority of the players, so there are no real surprises for me. The job of the coaching staff is to help develop the players and the team, and this is what we are working on, so that we can become stronger day-by-day.

There were a few players missing today apart from the international players? What is the plan for them?
Natually they are still contracted to the football club, but we need to make decisions to reach our objectives. We have put together a plan, which is a continuous process, and those that do not fit into this plan, will train with the second team for the time being.

What type of players do you expect to arrive at the club?
We need to look at the possibilities, and what players we have for each position. The team needs to remain balanced, and we need a good mixture of youth and experience. We will only announce new players when things have been agreed and signed with those players. We cannot name the players that we are in negotiations with out of respect to the players, their current club and Videoton.

The squad will head to their Italian training camp on Friday. Will the whole squad be in place by then?
There will be players arriving on trial both before we leave for the training camp and while we are out there. Our decisions are continuously being evaluated to make sure that we get the right players in. We are putting plenty of thought and time into who we need to keep and which players need to come in for the next season. We are preparing for the champions league, and our super cup match with KTE on the 8th July is also very much on our minds.

Are you thinking about foreign or Hungarian transfer targets?
Both

How difficult is it to attact players to Hungary?
I do have my connections, and I hope that my own personality can convince them to join. We have been working very hard, and Videoton are known abroad and offer good facilities both in Fehervar and at the Puskas academy. That will be a big advantage to us in attracting better players to our club.

You speak several languages. Do you know a few words in Hungarian?
I am already learning the important words to do with football. We aim to have Hungarian lessons as soon as we return from our training camp.
