The first 45 minutes saw Vidi manage to score four goals, to put the game beyond their Spanish hosts. The manager gave each of his players 45 minutes, with the exception of Damir Milanovics, who played the entire match. The second half saw a completely new side with Gyorgy Mezey deciding on the following line up of: Bozsovics – Szolnoki, Lipták, Milanovics, Hidvégi – Gosztonyi, Farkas (Ponczók), Elek, Szakály – Vasziljevics, Nikolics.
