Gosztonyi not satisfied with the U21 performance

Hungary U21 - Slovakia U21 0-0 (0-0)

Hungary's young U21 side were in international friendly action on Wednesday afternoon. They were up against their Slovakian counterparts, with the game taking place at Tatabanya. There were no goals in this low key affair, which included Videoton midfielder Andras Gosztonyi. He played the entire match and then spoke to vidi.hu after the game.

- I thought that the game was played at a very bad time, and it also caused me problems. The state of the pitch was another big cause for concern, with it being muddy and slippery all over. We were also not as precise as we should have been with our game. This played a big part in the final score being goaless. There were not many chances in the match, and I had two efforts, with the first being from about 18 meters out with a free kick. It just failed to hit the target by about 20cm, and their keeper didn't even move. I still felt as though I lacked full fitness and rhythm as I have not been playing full games for Videoton, and I am not at my peak at the moment. I will now switch my full focus to Sunday's home game with Ujpest."
