The captain was not satisfied even though Vidi beat Paks
Balazs Farkas shared his thoughts on the home win over Paks, following the game.
"This was not the first, or even the second game when we have made things difficult for ourselves in the final minutes. The game should have been settled much earlier in the match. I think that things went very much to plan in the first half. Its best not to really talk about the second half. I cannot really give a reason as to why the team did not play as we know it can, and as we should. Especially as our opponents were not one of the teams chasing the title, but a mid table side. Perhaps a game against better opponents would have shown that we have not yet reached that level where we need to be, and what people now expect from us, and what we also expect from ourselves. We had chances in the second half, and we also tried to build such a formation and play, which can also be rewarding on the international stage. The manager wanted us to use different tactics and formation for our game in Zalaegerszeg, as well as in Papa. We also made serious individual mistakes in yesterday's match, for example that we allowed Paks to pass the ball around more than we should have. We have things to work on and improve, if we are to have serious plans for the future."
