Andras Gosztonyi performs a kind deed

He handed over his shirt to a young supporter

Videoton midfielder Andras Gosztonyi arrived back in the dressing room without his top on, following the recent home game with Szolnok. The club has strict rules that state that the players cannot handover parts of their playing kit to the fans. However, Andras did just that! He avoided punishment, when a letter arrived, a few days later, at the local county newspaper's offices. "An act of humanity! I would like to thank Andras Gosztonyi, for giving my disabled daughter, his shirt following Saturday's win over Szolnok. He made her very happy. She had anyway attended Vidi matches, but will now be doing so with her new shirt. Thanks Vidi! Bianka and mother" Andras' modest character shows through, that the team only knew what had happened, after this. The player also revealed to vidi.hu that it was a totally natural guesture on his part. He noticed the young girl, as he felt that she could be Down Syndrome, just like his own sister. So it was understandable that Andras wanted to give her a bit of happiness, and handed over his top as a gift. Congratulations Andras, it was a real touch of kindness!
