Zoltan Peto: We are going into Sunday's game as underdogs

Szolnok's experienced defender looks forward to the clash with Videoton

Szolnok's experienced defender, Zoltan Peto spoke ahead of Sunday's league match at the Sostoi stadium. The ex international, who has also spent part of his career at Belgium side FC Brussels, will start the match at the heart of the defence. "I know that we will be underdogs going into the match. Videoton are one of the clubs who will feature in the race for the league title. Our aim is to avoid relegation and stay in the top division. We cannot have any complaints so far, as we have picked up 5 points from our first 5 games. We will need to spring surprises along the way and maybe Sunday's game will be one of those. We have prepared in the same way as we would with any other match, and we are clear about our chances in the game. Vidi are a very strong side, with good players in each position. Our side has a lot of experienced players in it, and as we all know, experience is an important part of the game. We will repect our opponents, but only up to a limit, and we will not be running out on to the pitch on Sunday, with our hands tide behind our backs. I am really looking forward to playing on the new pitch at the Sostoi.

Zoltan Peto has nice memories of Fehervar.

- I was always happy playing at the Sostoi stadium, against a good team and great crowd. I remember a game back in the 1993/94 season, when we lost 2-1, when I was playing for Debrecen. I scored our sides only goal of the game that day. I also remember scoring against Mitring, and that was my second goal in the first division."

Peto will have his young 9-year-old son, Bruno, watching from the stands on Sunday. The talented youngster looks like following in his father's footsteps, and becoming a footballer one day.
