There are six Videoton players in the international sides

Lazar, Liptak and Elek will travel with the senior side, while Szakaly, Gosztonyi and Lencse will hope to feature in the U21 match with Wales

The attention turns to the international scene this week, with both the Hungarian senior side and U21 training at the Telki complex. The U21 side face Wales, in Fehervar, on Saturday 4th September, in a European qualifying match. Wales currently top the group, so this is a vital game for the young Hungarian side. The senior side travel to play Sweden, in Solna, Sweden, with a Friday 20:00pm kick off, in Sandor Egervari's first key game as the new manager.

The atmospere at Telki has been good, and both sides will be confidently going into their matches. The senior squad has three Videoton players, with Zoltan Liptak, Pal Lazar and Akos Elek, all hoping to play a part in the game in Solna. The U21 side, which is managed by Antal Roth, has another three young  Vidi players, Laszlo Lencse, Andras Gosztonyi and Denes Szakaly.
