Janos Takacs will take charge of this Sunday's opening home match of the season for Videoton. The 38 year old experienced official will be assited by Lajos Tóth and Gyula Ortó. He has been refereeing games since 1998 but only made his first division debut in 2008. That game was between Debrecen and REAC, which resulted in a 6-2 home win.

An interesting fact is that Takacs did not referee any games involving Videoton last season. However, he did take charge of two Vidi games in the 2008/2009 season. Those included the 2-1 home win over Diosgyor and the 2-2 home draw with Vasas. Goran Vujovics scored both goals in that game.
