As it has done every year since 1967, after the 2021/2022 season, the Nemzeti Sport has produced its position-by-position player rankings based on the post-match ratings of the correspondent. Players who were graded one more time than half of the matches of the season, at least 17 times (which requires a minimum of 30 minutes on the pitch), were eligible for the list. 

The eleven of the best players of the league included players from five teams, and MOL Fehérvár FC's Hungarian national team player Loic Nego was the top right-back (with an average of 5.62 in 29 matches) - Nego, who was invited to the national team's June Nations League matches, was also included in the m4sport.hu editors' dream team. Our team's forward Nemanja Nikolic finished third among strikers and Palkó Dárdai among attacking midfielders.
