The two managers shared their thoughts after Saturday's 3-3 draw against ZTE.

Gabor Marton:
"That's not how we wanted to start the match. Unfortunately, we made a mistake right at the beginning, after which the team got into a bit of a shock, but we were able to get back on our feet soon. After levelling, we gave away another easy goal to the opponent, but even then we stood up and turned the game around. We should have kept this advantage intelligently, appreciating the ball much better. I’m glad we played in an enjoyable match from a supporters standpoint, the same match gave us managers a near heart-attack. The fans applauded the team, which is definitely positive, as it means they saw the will and the drive to win in the team. We must not make such mistakes, we must be more lethal with our situations and then we can win the matches."
Gabor Boer:
"We produced a very good first half. In the first twenty minutes, we came up with intense football that couldn’t be sustained throughout the match. We took the lead twice and then conceded an avoidable goal at the end of the first half. The picture of the game would have been completely different if we would have had an advantage in the dressing room at half time. We also wanted to open the second half with an intense game, but at that time the legs were not fresh anymore, we were able to come back from a losing position anyway, I definitely consider this a big weapon. What we had on the pitch mentality, concentration and passion was okay, we were able to compensate for the quality difference with Vidi."

We sat down to talk with new summer signing Jevhen Makarenko.

The Vidi defender played against his former side on Saturday evening. He gave his reaction on the game after the final whistle.

Nemanja Nikolic scored two goals while Evandro scored his first NB I goal in the 3-3 draw.

The Vidi manager looks ahead to the first match of the new season and a return visit to his former club ZTE FC.

The thoughts of our defender who spent last season on loan at ZTE.

Our opponents finished last season in 7th place. They have played five friendly games over pre-season, which has produced 3 wins, 1 draw and a defeat.
