Roland Juhasz ended his playing career in a winning match on Tuesday night, and Paulo Vinícius also had the chance to say goodbye to the club and fans. On Wednesday, both players visited the City Hall, meeting the City Mayor Andras Cser-Palkovics. In addition to the mayor, Deputy Mayor Attila Meszaros, local government representative Laszlo Juhasz, sports director Zoltan Kovacs and managing director Attila Balogh also took part in the ceremony.

"The city owes a lot to both players, as they were the defining players of the team in the most successful period of the club's history. Roland Juhasz has a playing career that has been rarely seen in Hungarian footballers, both at home and abroad. He has done a lot for Vidi, the fans and Szekesfehervar in recent years, and last year we recognised all of this, as he received the highest city award, the title of Honorary Citizen of Szekesfehervar, which is awarded to a citizen not from Szekesfehervar. So we thought that we not only wanted to thank him for the past 7 years at the MOL Arena Sosto, but also at the City Hall. We also thank Paulo Vinicius for serving a single club. He came to our city at the young age of 21, and has enjoyed lots of beautiful success with Vidi. It is also a very nice experience, as I was able to carry out its naturalization in 2017 when he took the oath of Hungarian citizenship in front of me in this same building, which was a big honour for me. I can safely say that they found a home in Szekesfehervar, no matter how Vini's future develops, this city will always be his home, he will always return home here"said Dr. Andras Cser-Palkovics.

The Mayor also thanked Vidi footballers, led by Roland Juhasz, for helping Szekesfehervar to fight the coronavirus with nearly HUF 20 million.
