Our defender was recently part of the U21 set up but could now play for the senior team.
Summer signing Adrian Rus was unable to do a large part of pre-season with MOL Fehervar FC due to playing for the Romanian U21 side. He has now out grown the U21's and another step lies ahead for the defender. He has been called up to the Romanian senior squad.
The former Milan, Atletico Madrid and Getafe defender Cosmin Contra picked his squad on Friday ahead of September's EC matches. Adrian Rus could come up against one of the best forwards in the world. Romania have a game against Spain on the 5th September in Bucharest, which will kick off at 20:45pm. They then take on Malta three days later on the 8th September.
