We look back at big games that took place between the 15-21st October in the past. We have chosen three games over the past 38 years. 

2013 - The first win

We first came up against Puskas Academy on the 19th October 2013. The match took place at the Sostoi Stadium and the opponents included several players that had either earlier or later featured for Vidi. Those included Margitics, Vaszicsku, Nagy Zs., Tamás M., Polonkai, Zsolnai, Tischler. The manager of Puskas was Miklos Benczes who is currently their manager having recently taken charge again. 

It was Vidi that went into the game as the favourites with the league newcomers sitting in 12th place from 16 teams. They had won their previous two matches while Vidi led the league by 4 points. Vidi fielded Nikolic and Ze Luis as a strike duo for the first time. 

The most memorable moment came in the 90th minute when Alvarez scored a lovely goal with the outside of his foot:

It was a very high scoring game against a Tiszakecskere side in the history of NB I. The opponents went into the game after week 12 sitting in 15th place out of 18 teams. Vidi occupied the 9th place so there was nothing to suggest that they would manage to score 8 goals in the game. The was 2-0 at half time thanks to a header from Vancsa on 45 minutes. The second half resulted in the goals raining in on the visitors with Roth rounding things off at the end to score goal number 8.

Volan, who would later be known as REAC, arrived at the Sostoi stadium for this October fixture. Jozsef Verebes' side would go on to hit their opponents with plenty of goals. Vidi scored four goals inside the space of nine first half minutes. That made it 4-0 at half time for the Fehervar side against their Budapest counterparts. There were a further three goals in the second period to make the final score 7-2. Novath hit two goals with Jozsef Szabo also finding the back of the net.
