Vidi's winter pre-season gets underway with two training camps in Spain. The team will play several friendly games with a couple already confirmed.

The squad will travel out to Spain on the 16th January for the first of the two training camps. The coaching staff and players will head for Valencia via a stop-over in Frankfurt, before a 140km journey to Benidorm. The town is around 60km from Oliva where Vidi spent their 2016 winter training camp.
The plans include a first training match on the 20th January, with a 15:30pm kick off. Chinese first division side Beijing Renhe will be the opponents. The Beijing side have a squad value of around 7,5 million €. The squad also includes three valuable players with Janmie Oyovi (3,2m€), Ivo (1m€) and Ayub Timbe Masika (800k€).
Their manager is Spaniard Luis Garcia, who spent four years as a player with Benidorm, before later coaching them. There will be another friendly game three days later against Polish side Wisla Krakow. That will be a 16:00pm kick off on the 23rd January. The Poles are managed by former title winning Vidi manager Joan Carrillo. He helped Vidi to the title success back in 2015. Another well known player is midfielder Nikola Mitrovics, who spent two seasons with Vidi, making 55 league appearances in the red and blue shirt. Wisla are currently in 8 place in the 16 team domestic league. Their in form player over the Autumn was Spanish striker Carlitos, who scored 15 goals from 21 games.
Further friendly games will be announced later on vidi.hu. The players are due to return home from the first pre-season camp on the 30th January.

Csapatunk délután repül Budapestről Malagába, a tervek szerint este már edzést vezényel Marko Nikolics.

Klubunk megállapodott a válogatott támadóval arról, hogy a MOL Vidi FC-ben folytatja pályafutását.
