Csapatunk tavalyhoz hasonlóan ismételten Magyarország utolsó, nemzetközi porondon állva maradt együtteseként küzd az Európa Liga harmadik selejtezőkörében. A máltai Balzan FC 5-3-as és az észt Nomme Kalju FC 4-1-es kiejtését követően a Vidi a hatszoros francia bajnok FC Girondins de Bordeaux otthonában múlt csütörtökön szoros, 2-1-es vereséget szenvedett.
