Puskas Academy FC and Videoton FC have agreed on Bence Toth continuing his playing career with Vidi. The young central defender was born on the 25th May 1998 and started his playing career with Veszprem, before moving to Győr in 2012. He moved to the Puskas Academy youth system at the start of season 2014/15 and became a key player for that youth team. He went on to make his debut for the reserve side in November 2015 in a third division game. He went one better and played in 23 league games for Puskas in last season's title winning side, which included 2 goals. Toth was then called up for the Hungarian national team and earned his first cap in June 2017. Bence Toth has signed a four year deal with Videoton until 30 June 2017. 

"Bence is already experienced like those players who have already arrived. He played a season in the senior side and made his debut for the national team. We are talking about a very young and talented defender who has a nice career ahead of him. We wanted to bring him here in the winter, but I am pleased that this transfer has now happened. It will give the coaching staff more options at the back. We are counting on him long term as he is the future" - commented Zoltan Kovacs.

"I knew at a young age that it would be difficult to get into the Videoton first team, but my aim is to work hard in training and make my debut in the NBI at the earliest chance. There are several experienced players in the team. Roland Juhasz and the others will surely teach me a lot. I want to become a regular team member in the long term but know that there is plenty of work ahead. I feel at home at the back but can also happily play at full back. I have followed Vidi's performances and have heard lots of good things about the coaching team. I am really looking forward to linking up with the others on Monday and starting to work" - commented Bence Toth.
