The InStat analysis system has formed the basis of the best first division side over the first third of the 2016-2017 season. Three Videoton players have made that side with a further one player having left the club during the summer transfer window. Loic Nego, Paulo Vinicius and Roland Juhasz, together with Adam Lang, who joined French side Dijon have put in good performances over the first 11 games. 

It was defender Nego that emerged the top performer with 255.1 index, making him the best right back. Paulo Vinicius was not far behind with his 243.5 scoring putting him among the best central defenders. Fomer Vidi player Adam Lang was the second best defender, and his performance in the 5-1 win over Debrecen gave him a match score of 435! 

Videoton manager Henning Berg introduced Roland Juhasz into a new position in midfield over the first third of the season. The experienced player has responded with confident displays, which have resulted in an index of 248.
