Krisztian Géresi was born on the 14th June 1994 in Szekesfehervar. He started playing as a kid with Vidi, before moving over to Felcsut and a spell at the Puskas Academy. He was a member of the 2012 U18 league winning side, scoring 17 goals to earn him the third top goalscorer of that season. He also made a couple of appearances for them as he continued progressing at a fast pace. He then returned to Videoton in 2013 at the age of 19 and became a member of the Vidi II side, which plays its football in the third tier of the Hungarian league. Geresi was also a regular member of the U21 team, which ended up winning the league title that season. He remained with the Vidi II side for the following season and scored 9 goals for that team. The youngster also played a couple of league cup games to show what he can do. He scored a very good goal in the league cup match against Ajka.

Vidi II side have done very well to close the first half of their division 3 season in second place as they go in to the winter break. He scored 9 goals during last season and has already banged in 10 goals in half a season this campaign. He scored one of his best goals in the recent league match against the Puskas Academy II side a few weeks ago.

The 28th November 2015 was another memorable day in the career of Geresi. He made his debut for the first team after coming on in the 61st minute of the OTP league division one match.

"I knew a day before the match that I would be in the squad to face MTK. I have been training more and more with the first team in recent weeks. I was a little surprised when Ferenc Horvath told me that he was counting on me in the first team. I feel that I have had a good autumn season with the second team. I managed to score many goals and that has helped the Vidi II side to earn a place in the top positions of the league. It is a massive thing for me that I played in a first division match for Vidi. That made it a dream come true for me. I very much hope that I am given the chance again to show what I can do in the future. I know that the Videoton squad is very strong. It means that I have to work very hard to get in to the team, but I will always do my best to make sure I am considered. I felt that my debut went well and perhaps with a bit more luck, I could have scored a goal. The most important thing is that we won the game against MTK" - commented Krisztian Geresi to vidi.hu.
