Rodolphe Duvernet was born on the 8th April 1973 in the eastern part of France, in Besançon. He did not play at a high level when he was younger, but headed towards the area of physically preparing teams. He has been working together with Bernard Casoni for 9 years.

"Budapest and Szekesfehervar are lovely cities. I have also had the chance to visit Balaton, which is also amazing. The facilities at the club are also good, so I can say that everything is in place to work well. Naturally the latter is the most important as I have come to Videoton FC to work. The fact that my first impressions are good is just a plus. I have two sons who will shortly be arriving together with my wife to Hungary. It is very important that I am together with my family, whichever way my work takes me. This is a good experience for us to be in another country, which has a new culture that we can get to know. My most important task as a fitness coach is to get the players in to the best possible condition and then keep them at that state throughout the season. It is important to create a mutual respect between us. I do not want to push them too hard, but at the same time we will be working hard. It is vital to be in good fitness condition in this sport. I did not play football at a younger age. My background is different. The tactics or line-up of the team are not my concern. I never give any comments to the coaching staff with regards to this area. My role is to make sure that every player is in top form and available for the head coach. I have been working together with Bernard Casoni for 9 years.
