Nemanja Nikolics arrived in Szekesfehervar on the 1st February 2010. He was a Serbian citizen at the time who went on to win the hearts of the Fehervar supporters. He ended his first season with 18 goals picking up the top goalscorer award. 10 goals were scored during the autumn season for his former side Kaposvar. His first league goal in Vidi colours came on the 6th March 2010 at the home of DVTK, which helped Vidi to a 1-0 win. He went on to score a further 86 league goals in five and a half years. Nikolics was also in dangerous form during the 2012 Europa League run, scoring four times in that series.

Nemanja became a Hungarian national on the 28th January 2011 in Szekesfehervar. He had to wait a further two years before breaking in to the Hungarian national team. That came on the 11th October 2013 in a qualifying match with Holland. It was a match to forget as Hungary suffered an 8-1 defeat to the Dutch in Amsterdam. His first goal for Hungary came four days later against Andorra. He has scored 3 times in 12 national team games.

Nemanja Nikolics got married in Szekesfehervar and soon became father to his two children, Tijana and Marko. Nikolics wrote himself in to the history books of the club as one of the top goalscorers. He was top goalscorer in Hungary in three seasons (2010, 2014, 2015), and was chosen as player of the year for 2015. He won virtually all there is to win with Videoton. The Hungarian cup was the exception.

Niko will continue his career in the 2015-16 season playing for Polish side Legia Warsaw. He will forever be remembered at Vidi and wrote himself in to the club's history books. We wish him a continued good career with plenty of goals.
