Vidi are in Hungarian cup semi-final, second leg action tonight at the home of Ujpest. The Budapest side will be up against the red and blues for the fourth time this season, with Vidi having won all three so far.

Vidi will kick off the 18:00pm semi-final match at Ujpest with a goal advantage. The first leg ended in a 1-0 win after Gyurcso's goal proved the difference three weeks ago. The lilacs have already gone out of the league cup, while they are currently in 7th place in the OTP league table. That puts them 14 points from a place in the top 3 and 17 ahead of the relegation places, which means that with 5 matches left to play, the only real hope of winning something this season lies in the Hungarian cup. Vidi are expecting a very difficult 90 (or 120) minutes!
Ujpest progressed past Budaors (3-1), Himeshaza (13-0), Haladas (2-0), Ajka (1-1, pens 5-3) and Gyirmot (0-0, 4-0) to get in to the last four. Their six cup matches have seen them concede two goals.
Vidi have already met Ujpest twice in the league on top of the Hungarian cup. The autumn match at the Sostoi ended in a 2-0 win, while the recent spring fixture also ended with 3 points after a 1-0 win at the Ferenc Szusza stadium.
