Vidi have been regular visitors to the town with a population of 60,000, which is situated 90km from Malaga. This is the fourth time that the club have used the training complex at Estepona. The local Mayor of the town, José María García Urbano visited the squad at the hotel to thank the club in the town's name by presenting a memorial plaque. He also wished the team the best of luck, especially as Vidi have used the complex several times in their preparations for the spring seasons.

Head coach Joan Carrillo and captain Gyorgy Sandor received the gift on behalf of the club, while the Mayor was presented with a signed Vidi shirt.
