The program for Monday, following the first match of the year was the usual one. Breakfast, training, lunch, rest, another training session, dinner and rest.

You could see during training that the emphasis has moved away from physical to practicing tactical elements, which still need to be developed further. There was time for some fun at the end of the session, with a GoPro camera being hung in the goal, and the players used it as target practice. Watch the video below to see what happened!

The Cape Verde - Zambia - Africa Nations Cup match was the focus of attention in the evening. Stopira and his national side could only draw their latest match, just as they had done in the first two games. However, Tunisia and DK Congo scored more goals, which meant that Cape Verde were knocked out of the cup.
