Hi! My name is Helga, and I will try my best to help you get to know the players that play week in, week out for Videoton better. Here is my question and answer session with Filipe Oliveira. Let's get straight to it.! 

- Facebook or Twitter?
I do not use any of them, I do have Instagram.

- How do you keep contact with people back home?
I generally use Skype and Whatsapp with my brothers and friends, I do not use Facebook.

- What is the thing that most appeals to you about Hungary?
I really like the culture and the history of the country, which is really amazing for me. Now that I live in Budapest, and I am more familiar with the city, I have grown to known the people, who have been very friendly towards me from the first moment. It was very surprising for me that the Hungarians, who have and are going through many difficulties, are so friendly and kind. This has had a big effect on me.

- Do you ever get homesick? What do you do if you are?
When my wife was not here with me and I was alone, I was homesick, but since she is with me here, and also since the birth of my children, things are much easier. I do miss several members of my family, but I feel good here.

- Do you have any qualities that you feel need changing?
Yes, I think that I am a little bit stubborn.

- What are the major factors that you look for most in a woman?
Loyalty and friendship. My wife has several more, as she is my wife and the mother of my children. She is my best friend.

- What do you do and where do you go if you want to switch off a little?
We were able to plan various programs when it was just the two of us, but since our children were born, our lives have completely changed. We visit Tropicariums, parks and playgrounds. We go on outings to towns that we are not yet familiar with. We go on plenty of walks along the embankment of the river Danube, as our children really enjoy looking at the boats and the birds.

- Is there a place in the world that you have not yet been to, but would really like to visit?
Africa. I would like to get to know South Africa a little bit better, like Mozambique for example.

- What house chore do you most gladly do?
My favourite housework is the only one that I always do, which is to make the bed each morning. Naturally I can do everything, since the fact that I have been living alone since the age of 17. Fortunately my wife is the person that looks after this area.

- What item do you feel you could not live without?
A rosary. It is always with me and it has a special meaning to me, but the reasons why, I have never explained that to anybody. I come from a Catholic family.  I lived in Madeira, when I was playing for Maritimo, and I always used to attend Church on a Wednesday afternoon. It was a very short ceremony, and I used to sit in the back row. One day I arrived earlier than usual and went towards the front. An elderly lady sat next to me, and she came towards me at the end of the ceremony and gave me this rosary and said that she had received it from a priest, who had brought it from the Vatican a few weeks earlier. I never did get to see that lady again in my visits to that Church.

- Do you have any childhood memories that you gladly remember back to?
There are many. It is very hard to pick just one out, as I am very fortunate to have had a fantastic childhood. I grew up in the countryside, and had many friends who we used to play football with, we played and stole fruit from the neighbours, but we felt good. I have very good memories.

- What was your favourite subject at school?
Subjects that were mainly about finance.

- What could you consider yourself working in if you had not become a footballer?
My family have several companies at home, which is why I believe that if I would not have been a footballer, then I would have worked for my father.

- What was your best moment in your playing career so far?
I have had many luckily, but perhaps the one I would pick out would be my first match at the age of 18 for Chelsea FC.

- Do you have any pre-match habits before running out on to the pitch?
I usually cross myself, but do nothing else really. I am religious, but I am not superstitious. I believe that hardwork really does bring its fruits. Naturally you do need a little luck, just like anything in life, but the work you put in is the main thing.

- What was the last match that you watched as a spectator?
The U19 European Championship between Portugal and Germany, which was the final at the Ujpest stadium.

- Favourite meal at home?
Sea food with rice

- What meal do you most enjoy out of the Hungarian specialities?
Goulash soup. I really enjoy the Hungarian soups. 

- Which player has the best singing voice in the team?
