You made your debut in the Hungarian cup match against Kunszállás SE, and you scored two goals straight away. What did it feel like to play your first game for Vidi?

I felt really good out there on the pitch. I will admit that I was a little bit surprised that the manager started with me, as I have not had that many training sessions with the other players, so I did feel that physically I have some catching up to do. At the same time I did enjoy every minute in the game, and naturally the two goals that I scored, and I am pleased about the easy win. I hope that I can make my debut in a league game soon, and help Vidi with goals.

What did it feel like to sign for Videoton. What do you know about the club and have you liked what you have experienced so far?

I am honoured to come to Videoton. I have had good feelings about the club and I will always give 100% in every match to show that I was worth signing. I know that Videoton were UEFA cup finalists in 1985 and also that they won the league championship in 2011. I want to help them win it again this season. My first impressions of the club has made me excited. I am really impressed that Videoton are first in the league table. The whole organization of the club from what I have seen so far has been top class.

What has been the biggest success in your career so far?

My first success was when I scored my first goal for Lokomotiva against Oszijek. I also played for Croatia in the U21 World Cup in Turkey. However, my biggest success in football is signing for Videoton FC.

Dinko Trebotic joined Vidi during the summer from Zagreb, where you were team mates last season. Did you speak with him before signing for the club?

Trebotic has told me that this is a great opportunity in my life, playing at a very good football club, which will help to make us even more successful in our football careers. Dinko has said only nice things about this good and professional football club in Hungary.

What number shirt will you be playing in?

Number 77

Who is your favourite player and role model?

My favourite player is Messi. My biggest role model is Mario Mandzukic who plays for Atletico Madrid.
