Videoton will play their first friendly match on the 4th July against an Austrian 3rd division side, with the second friendly on the 9th July against a first division Czech side.

The Videoton FC first team squad will head off to Austria on the 28th June for their training camp in Leoben. They will play two friendly matches during their stay, with the first match taking place on the 4th July, with the exact kick off time and location to be decided. Vidi's opponents will be Austrian third division side SV Allerheiligen, who ended last season in 10th place.
The second friendly will be on the 9th July with a harder match for Joan Carrillo's side. They will face Czech first division team FK Baumit Jablonec. They have been members of the first division since 1994. Their highest position came in season 2009-2010 when they finished second in the league. They have also been third place in three seasons (1996, 1997, 2011). The last 15 years has seen them be Cup finalists, winning two finals in 1998 and 2013. That secured them a place in the Europa League 2013-14 season, with them entering at the third qualification stage, securing two wins against Norwegian side Strømsgodset, winning 2-1 at home and 3-1 in Norway. They then came up against Spanish side Real Betis, who eventually knocked the Czech side out. FK Baumit Jablonecet won the Czech Super Cup in 2013.
It is interesting to note that the Czech side have just one foreign player in their squad. He is 33 year old Brazil Daniel Rossi. The most valuable player is 24 year old right winger Jan Kopic, whose value is around the 900,000€ mark. FK Baumit Jablonec total squad is valued at more than 9,5 million euros.
Videoton will then travel back to Hungary after the friendly match on the 9th July. The next friendly after that will be against French giants PSG on the 12th July.
