Videoton FC are delighted to help play their part in this important cause.
The 21st March 2014 marks the 9th anniversary of World Down Syndrome Day (DSI). Every year the voice of people with Down syndrome, and those who live and work with them, becomes louder. But there is still so much more that can be done to raise awareness. The first event took place in 2006 in Switzerland.
Videoton and the city of Szekesfehervar have for years now joined in with the various events to mark this day. Youngsters with Down Syndrome escorted the players of Videoton and Győri ETO in Sunday's league match at the Sostoi stadium. The half time break also saw a production from the children of the Arany Janos school, who joined forces with the FONIX Rock and Roll Sports chain team.
