The Vidi squad continues to train hard ahead of the new spring season.

The heavy weekend rain was followed with better weather on Monday. The 10-12c temperature on Tuesday was ideal for playing football. The players had breakfast before boarding the team coach for the nearby training pitch for the morning training session, which started at 10.00.
There was a warm up period before the balls were brought out and the emphasis was placed on closing down the opponent. The coaching staff also put the players through shooting practice. Physio Szilard Purger continues to work hard on the players returning from injury. He work together with Paraiba and also helped Kleinheisler to return from his recent injury.
The near two hour training session was followed by lunch at 12.30, while the weather took a turn for the worse, and the rain started to fall. The players were given the afternoon to relax, which they fully took advantage of. There will be a tactical meeting in the evening with dinner shortly after that.
Vidi have another pre-season friendly match on Wednesday with a 16.30pm kick off against Chinese side FC Guangzhou Evergrande. A full match report will appear here shortly after the final whistle.

The squad touched down in Malaga before heading for a training session nearby.

The plan is to play friendly matches with some of the top sides in Russia.

The squad left Malaga on Thursday afternoon but only arrived back in Szekesfehervar late on Friday evening.

The players will now be given time off to rest until Monday.

Kleinheisler has picked up an infection while Toth could link up with the Puskas Academy in a loan deal.
