Week ahead: Hungarian cup and OTP league football for Vidi

Videoton entertain Diosgyőr in the Hungarian cup before a trip to Haladas at the weekend.

Hungarian cup fifth round

Videoton FC - DVTK 

The 5th round of the Hungarian cup sees DVTK making the visit to the Sostoi stadium. Tomiszlav Szivics' side will play Vidi for the second time in the space of three days, with Videoton drawing 2-2 on Sunday in Miskolc. Videoton beat Bekescsaba in the last round, while Diosgyőr did the same by winning against Cigand. Both matches were tight with Vidi going through with a Zé Luis goal, while DVTK came from 1-3 down to go through 4-3.



OTP Bank league - weekend 16
Sunday 1st December 2013, 18.30:
Szombathelyi Haladás - Videoton FC

The first match of the spring season will be played in weekend 16 of the OTP league. Vidi make the trip to Szombathely to face Haladas. Videoton comfortably beat Haladas 2-0 on the first day of the season, thanks to goals from Kleinheisler and Nikolics. The Szombathely side have since gone on a good run, which sees them up near the top sides. They suffered a 3-1 home defeat to Pecs at the weekend, but had won four of their five league games before that. They currently occupy fourth place in the OTP league.
