Despite this it was still not an easy match for us on Wednesday. Malta defended with ten men behind the ball, restricting the space that we could play in to, which did not help us at all. We had several good chances to score during the first half, even hitting the post. However, we could not put the ball into the back of the net. I played at left back in the first half, but at half time, Norbert Farkas, who plays for the Puskas Academy side, came on to play on that side, and I ended up switching over to right back.
