Introducing our Europa League opponents

Videoton face a two-legged tie with Mladost Podgorica on the 4th and 11th July.

FK Mladost Titograd as they were originally known began life in 1950, playing in red and white colours. Following independence, they were members of both the first and second division, first as part of the Yugoslavian domestic league, where they were mainly playing in the second and third level.

Our Europa League opponents ended the 2012/2013 season in sixth place. However cup winners Budućnost Podgorica and fourth placed Grbalj did not receive a license from UEFA to play in the Europa League. That resulted in both them and fifth place Rudar Pljevlja representing their country in European competition. They finished last season having won 9 from 33 league matches, drawing a further 12 and losing the other 12. Mladost Podgorica scored 39 goals while they conceded 48 in total. They went out in the cup semi-final stage to eventual winners Buducsnosz.Top socrer was former Pecs player Marko Šćepanović, who found the back of the opponents net 14 times. Mladost Podgorica play their matches at the 2000 capacity Stari Aerodrome
