Vidi have been in great goalscoring form lately having made a perfect start to the spring season
Friday's good win over Siofok gives us the chance to look back at some Vidi history. We glance back to similar high scoring matches in the first division. Siofok have not had the best of visits to the Sostoi stadium in recent times. The Balaton side suffered a 7-0 loss on their previous visit in November 2011. Vidi had led 2-0 at half time, thanks to goals from Oliveira and Alves. Similarly to Friday's win, that match saw Vidi score several goals in the second half, with further goals from Sandor, Nikolics and Alves, who both scored twice.
Further back in time to August 2007 and a match with Tatabanya. The score at half time was 1-0 to the Fehervar side, who led thanks to a Dajic goal. Once again the goals began to fly in on the hour mark, as Dajic, Vayer, Farkas, Simek, Dveri and Sitku all did the damage in that game.
Even further back to 1997 and an October game with Tiszakecske at the Sostoi stadium. That match ended in an 8-0 win for the Szekesfehervar club. Vancsa hit three, Korsos scored twice and further goals from Dveri, Waltner and Roth secured the thrashing. A similar 8-0 Vidi win happened in May 1972 against Egri Dozsa. That game was played 40 years ago, with Karsai scoring a treble, Wollek (2), Hartyani, Szalmasy and Nagy also finding the back of the net.

Nikolics scored a 15th minute opener for Videoton but Debrecen came from behind to secure the win.
