Belgium - Jupiler League week 17

Genk played out a 1-1 draw at home to Leuven, taking the lead in the 21st minute through Plet. They kept this lead until the final minutes of the game, when the visitors drew level with a penalty. Manager Mario Been made three changes to the side that faced Videoton last week.

Barda, Joseph-Monrose and Dani Fernández were left out, replaced by Limbambe, Koulibaly and Plet who all began the match.. Genk lined up with: Van Hout - Limbombe, Koulibaly, Nadson, Tshimanga - Hyland, Buffel, Gorius, Ngcongca, Plet - Vossen, and came very close to securing all three points on Sunday. Genk remain in fourth place after 17 league matches. Anderlecht top the table with an 8 points lead.

Switzerland - Super League Week 17

Basel went down 3-2 at the home of Thun last week, even though they led at half time. The two goals for the red and blues came from Frei and Streller. However, Thun came back strongly in the second period to emerge winners. Basel lined up with: Sommer - Dragovic, Steinhöfer, Schär, Park - F. Frei, Diaz, Cabral - Salah, Streller, Stocker. They have collected 30 points after 17 league games, to sit in 4th place.  Grasshoppers currently top the super league.

Portugal - Liga ZON Sagres Week 10

Sporting came from two goals down to level the match with Moreirense 2-2. The goals for next Thursday's opponents came from Xandao and Dier. The game, which was played on Monday evening, saw Sporting begin the game with Rui Patricio - Dier, Xandao, Rojo, Insua - Elias, Schaars - Carrillo, Pranjic, Capel - van Wolfswinkel. The Lisbon side have picked up just 11 points from the first 10 games, and sit in 8th place in the table. Videoton make the visit to Lisbon on Thursday 6th December.
