Another busy week is in store for all connected with Vidi, with league cup and OTP league action for the men in red and blue. Young Adam Gyurcso is also in the Hungarian squad as they face a home qualifier against Turkey on Tuesday evening. 

League cup match 4

Tuesday 16th October 2012 14:00pm Videoton FC - ZTE

Videoton continue their League cup campaign with a home match against ZTE. The game will be played in Felcsut, with Vidi having already beaten ZTE 2-0 last week in the league cup. They followed that win up with another one against Kaposvar, on Saturday, with a 1-0 scoreline being enough to give Vidi the three points. Zalaegerszeg are currently 10th in the second division, following their relegation last season.

World Cup Qualifier, Budapest

Tuesday 16th October 2012 20.30pm: Hungary - Turkey

The Hungarian national team, with Adam Gyurcso as part of the squad, entertain Turkey at the Ferenc Puskas stadium on Tuesday. Hungary won away in Estonia by a single goal, and are third in their group. They have collected six points from a possible nine, so a win is vital to keep up the pressure on the top two. Hungary face Turkey, who surprisingly lost 1-0 at home to Romania last week.

OTP Bank League Division One - Week 11

Friday 19th October 2012 K.O.: 17:00pm  MTK - Videoton FC

It is back to OTP league action on Friday evening with a trip to Budapest. Vidi will come up against MTK, who have began the season well, even if they have lost points over the last couple of matches. The Budapest side are in third place in the table after ten matches. The blue and whites have won five, drawn two, and lost the remaining three games. The two sides last met in the semi-finals of the Hungarian cup last season.
