Paulo Sousa: "Both sides will be looking to win Thursday evening's match, which I am sure about. It is important that we are clear with the fact that Sporting are a very good side. They have produced really serious results on the international stage. As to exactly what formation they will play, is not our problem. Our own target is to bring the best out of ourselves, and make things difficult for Sporting. I would not settle for a point before the game, as we will go out on to the pitch wanting to beat our Portuguese opponents."

Sá Pinto: "For me there is not such thing as a favourite team in a group. It is all about having opponents, which we have to beat. We never go into a series, that we are the best, but rather, that we have a task, which needs to be solved. There isn't such a big difference with the sides in the championship. Any team is capable of producing a surprise, and my own task is to reduce that possibility to the minimum. Videoton have a good defence. They narrow the area to play in to and are well composed. They counter attack to a high level as well. It is important to remain stable at the back, and our target is simple, which is to win in Szekesfehervar."
