"We had agreed with Nike prior to season 2011/2012, from their range, and we arrived at the decision, that we would use kit, which would remind us of the legendary era of Videoton FC. We therefore chose the red and blue striped shirts, which brought back memory's of the 1984/85 UEFA Cup year. We had slightly harder task this season, and we have chosen the new shirts to mark Videoton FC's first top flight team in the first division, which played in an all red top, blue shorts and either red or blue stockings" - described Adam Varkonyi. 

During the course of choosing the new kit, the process relates to various departments within the football club. Agreement also needed to be reached with the first team players, the coaching staff, and the design department, where graphics and the design are all prepared. "We tried to not only change the tops, but also the design and the lettering and numbering at the same time, which all involve completely new technology. The style of numbering is a new trend on the international stage, with more and more clubs using it" - summarized the Marketing Director. 

Idén is háromféle garnitúrát használnak majd a Vidi játékosai. A hazai, piros-kék összeállítás mellett az idegenbeli tiszta kék, a harmadik számú pedig tiszta fehér. Egy típuson belül is további három fajtát különböztetünk meg, a bajnokikon, a Magyar Kupa mérkőzéseken és a nemzetközi kupában használatosakat. Erre azért van szükség, mert a különböző sorozatokban különböző módon szabályozzák a feliratokat és a reklámokat.

"A nemzetközi kupákban egy szponzor lehet feltüntetve, ami a MOL lesz. A hazai bajnoki mez egy klasszikus darab, elöl a Máltai Szeretetszolgálat logója, a két karrészen pedig a klub két főszponzorának, a MOL-nak és a Strabagnak a logója szerepel. A Magyar Kupában viselendő mezen pedig elöl a MOL, hátul, a szám alatt a Strabag, a két karon pedig a Puskás Akadémia és a Máltai Szeretetszolgálat emblémái jelennek meg" - tájékoztatta honlapunkat Várkonyi Ádám.
