Videoton FC have another full week of action, with an away first leg, league cup semi-final to negotiate on Wednesday. Then Sunday sees a home fixture against fourth in the table Honved.

Lombard Papa stand in the way of Vidi reaching the final of this season's League cup. The two last met at the end of October, when Vidi emerged 3-2 winners at the Perutz stadium in Papa. The game saw Videoton come from behind to win with goals from Alves (2), and Nikolics, who lobbed the keeper for the winner. Tuesday's opponents have done well in the league cup, reaching the semi-finals by winning four, drawing one and losing a single game. Vidi made it through as group winners, following a double leg win over Diosgyőr in the quarter finals. Lombard have had a hard season so far in the league and are currently one of the bottom in 15th.

Honved make the journey to the Sostoi stadium on Sunday with a third against fourth fixture, likely to wet the appetite of the supporters. There should be a good crowd for the Sunday evening game, with Honved having made a good start to the spring season. They have beaten both Vasas and ZTE, but lost their last game at home to Kecskemet, in what was a surprise 4-1 defeat. Honved saw both their forwards leave over the winter period, with Torghelle joining Vidi, and Danilo moving to Switzerland to continue his playing career. Attlia Supka's Honved beat Videoton in their home game this season by a single goal, with the winner coming from a Danilo penalty, towards the end of the match.
