Videoton won comfortably in their second friendly of their Spanish training camp

Videoton FC played out the second friendly match of their three week Spanish training camp on Sunday afternoon. They were up against Lithuanian champions In fine conditions and in wonderful surroundings, Videoton produced a convincing display, giving their opponents no chance. Vidi kicked off and were soon awarded their first corner of the match on 3 minutes. Brachi was quick to react when he headed away a dangerous cross, with the waiting Lithuanian forward ready to pounce. The match was fairly even in the opening minutes, with Nikolics caught offside after 7 minutes. The majority of play was in the middle of the pitch, with both teams testing each other. Brachi had a dangerous free kick on 18 minutes, which Ekranas keeper struggle to cope with.
Nikolics chased a lost ball on the bye-line before cutting the ball back for Oliveira, whose effort was saved by keeper Kauneckas. Vidi were starting to get on top after the first quarter hour of the match, with chances coming regularly. Walter crossed from the left, and Torghelle rose well to head just over after 26 minutes. Vidi took the lead when Nikolics slipped the ball under the chest of the on coming keeper, after receiving a good ball. It was no more than the Hungarian side deserved, in their smart yellow shirts.
Tujvel was on hand in the Videoton goal to collect an effort from the Ekranas forward towards the end of the first half. Both Vasziljevic and Walter needed treatment as the referee blew for half time. The second half kicked off with Szolnoki replacing Jeff SIlva at the back. The 49th minute saw Tujvel save excellently to deny Ekranas the equaliser. The Lithuanians began the second period brighter, but it was soon to be 2-0 to Paulo Sousa's Videoton FC. A counter attack down the right saw Oliveira cross with the ball going just over the head of Torghelle, before landing at the feet of Walter, who did well to place the ball into the back of the net.
The game changed on 63 minutes with the introduction of 7 substitutions, and a sending off for Ekranas. Giedrius clashed with Gyorgi Sandor, giving the ref no option but to show red. It was 3-0 on 73 minutes when triallist Enete rose to head well past the keeper. It meant that Vidi could confidently pass the ball around with a secure advantage. Evandro rounded things off with the fourth goal after some help from Sandor. The young forward did well to slip the ball beyond the keeper to make it 4-0. The referee soon blew for full time, rounding off a confident display against strong opponents.

A Videoton FC-Puskás Akadémia U16 3-1-re nyert a PMFC ellen, míg az U18 négy gólt lőve győzte le ellenfelét.

Csapatunk idei első gólját Nikolics Nemanja szerezte a litván Ekranas elleni mérkőzésen. Támadónkat a 4-0-ra megnyert mérkőzésről kérdeztük.

Szenzációsan kezdte csapatunk a spanyolországi Impact Kupát. 1-0-ás félidőt követően 4-0-ra vertük az FK Ekranast.

Vasárnap az Ekranas ellen kezdi meg szereplését a Videoton FC a spanyolországi Impact Kupán. Paulo Sousát a célokról kérdeztük.
