Videoton play the second of their league cup matches on Wednesday afternoon. Following last weeks single goal defeat against division two side MTK, they once again have opponents from that division, in the shape of Gyirmot. Paulo Sousa looks likely to field a mixed side, as he did last week, with a mixture of first team squad members with little match action so far, as well as some of the talented youngsters, who are looking to break through in to the senior squad. The club have thrown open the doors to the public, in an attempt to increase the expected number of supporters. The league cup is not regarded in the same way as in many other countries. Winning the competition does not give you a place in Europe, although the winners can expect a nice financial reward for their efforts.
