Gyorgy Mezey: "I will only talk about the championship winning performance at a later date. We played a very good match today, against a well prepared and clever footballing Kaposvar side. There were turning points in the game, but I felt that we totally deserved the win overall. I would like to thank those that have supported both the players and myself over the course of the season."

Tibor Sisa: "I would like to start by saying that I would honestly like to congratulate Videoton! They did not win the championship today, but with their performances over the whole season. The way that this side played, and the way that Gyorgy Mezey put the team together, confirms the fact that they deserve this. Many people are delighted, except for perhaps 20-30 people, who are from our club. I thought that we produced several good performances and played well in periods. The home side did better during the turning points in the game, and they ended up deserving to win."
