Videoton beat ZTE 3-0 on Friday evening to go 12 points clear at the top of the Monicomp league. Andre Alves hit two of Vidi's goals in that match, and the Brazilian has been in top form over the 2010/11 season. He scored his 19th and 20th goal and he is aiming for more!

- I am naturally very pleased as a striker if I can end up as the top goalscorer. However, if I am totally honest, then the league title is far more important to me. We are in a very good position at the moment, and we have a 12 points lead at the top. We will not relax until it is mathematically safe and we have the league championship confirmed. Videoton have never won the league, and it will feel special to be part of the team that wins it for the first time. 

What aims did you have before the season with regards to goals?

- I set a target of 25 goals before the season began, but the teams success is far more important. For me setting up the other players, or finding good solutions is just as important as scoring goals. Football is about team play, and creating goals for others makes me just as happy. Naturally as a striker, I would like to score as many goals as possible. Many have mentioned that I may be the first player to score 30 goals in a season, and it has been 30 years since it was last achieved. That record is not at the top of my list at the moment. I think that 25 goals would also be a nice amount, but only if Videoton's name will be top of the table at the end of the season!
