Gyorgy Mezey took his squad to Sunday's Spanish league game between Sevilla and Malaga. The experienced manager took time out to share his thoughts. "Several of my players felt following the match, that it is not them that should have watched the game, but those who organise Hungarian football in the background. This was a game to forget, but the organisation can be learned from. The surprise began that the 60,000 capacity stadium filled up within minutes before the match, and there was close to 50,000 inside when the referee blew for kick off. The stands were virtually empty twenty minutes before the start, and the players warmed up in front of around a couple of thousand fans. There was a great atmosphere during the 90 minutes, and I did not hear one abusive chant in the game. The home fans gave their side great support, and they sang song after song."
