The Hungarian national team are preparing for Wednesday's friendly match with Lithuania, at the Sostoi stadium. Sandor Egervari's squad have been practicing at the Telki HQ, just outside Budapest. The players had their first training session in the afternoon. Vidi are represented by three players in the squad, with defenders Zoltan Liptak, Pal Lazar and midfielder Akos Elek, all receiving call ups for the friendly. Zoltan Liptak spoke about things so far just before the joint dinner. 

"Just like the international manager has already said, this match is the perfect chance for the team to bond even more over these 3 days. The atmosphere is great and everyone is very positive, which is great for all of us. I am really looking forward to Wednesday's match, when we will be up against Lithuania. We will be playing on our own pitch, which for the trio of us from Videoton, means exactly that. We know every blade of grass. Another fact that I can say is that our only aim is to win. I hope that there will be many who will come out and support us, and back the international side."

Liptak will make his fourth appearance for Hungary, in the event that he is picked to play. "It is always a great honour to put on the international shirt, and the same applies now. I made my debut at Wembley against England, in a friendly match, and now we will be saying goodbye to the year in another friendly with Lithuania. The new manager and coaching staff have built a new international side, and I feel that we are still finding our way, but we are heading in a good direction. That is why each game is very important to us." said the defender. Liptak will not be turning out for Videoton at the weekend against Ujpest, as he has picked up 5 yellow cards. This game has come at a good time for him. What is he expecting in the game with Ujpest? "This yellow card has come at a very bad time, and I did not plan on getting my fifth yellow card in the game at Győr. It will not be an easy game for sure, and I am not saying that because either Tamas Vasko or myself will miss the game, but because you always have to battle for points against them. Three points are our only aim when we play at home, and we really need the points now!
