The game got off to a quiet start with no major talking points within the first 30 minutes. The action was mainly consigned to the midfield, with the two sides trying to win the personal battles. It was Elek who broke the deadlock just before half time, when he scored to put Vidi one up. However, ZTE were back on level terms on 49 minutes, but that was as far as it got, as the game reverted back to the pattern of the first half.
