U18: FCF - Dunaújváros 1-1
A Ferencvárostól elszenvedett vereség után idei második mérkőzésén begyűjtötte első pontját az FC Fehérvár U18. Toldi Gábor edző fiai a Dunaújvárossal remiztek a Sóstói Stadionban.
Az U19 II. Osztály Közép csoportjának első tavaszi fordulójából elhalasztott meccsén megyei rangadóhoz méltó iramot diktáltak a felek. Az első játékrészben inkább a küzdelem dominált a Sóstói Stadion műfüves pályáján, helyzet kevés, szikrázó összecsapás annál több alakult ki. Fordulás után gyorsan előnybe került a látogató, az 53. percben egy jobb oldali szabadrúgást követően a vendégek támadója 5 méterről bólintott Pap hálójába, 0-1. Érdekes módon a találat nem az előnybe kerülő gárdát dobta fel, Toldi Gábor együttese ragadta magához az irányítás, folyamatos készültségben tartva a rivális védelmét. Szűk negyedórával a vége előtt jött is az egyenlítés, Hart forintos labdájával kilépve Jung Martin a kifutó hálóőr fölött emelt a kapuba. Az egyenlítő találat után is támadásban maradt U18-as csapatunk, azonban a győztes gólt már nem sikerült bepréselni, a vége így maradt 1-1.U19 II. Ugyanakkor egy kiegynlített, jó iramú meccsen nekünk volt valamivel több lehetőségünk, így akár többet is szerezhettünk volna 1 pontnál. Az ellenfél nagyon erőszakos futballal rukkolt ki, azonban ezt jó hozzáállással kezeltük, a játékot tekintve pedig a második félidőben látott produkciónk szolgálhat követendő példaként.Az FC Fehérvár U18-ra még egy hazai bajnoki vár a héten, Belákék vasárnap 10 órától a Láng SK-t fogadják Sóstón.

Videoton are a third way through their league campaign, looking down from the top on the teams below. With 10 games played, Vidi have collected a total of 22 points, picking up 7 wins, drawing 1 and losing the other 2. The two defeats came against then bottom clubs, Haladas and ZTE. Vidi lead the table by two points from Győri ETO, with Ujpest right behind them. They have score a total of 26 goals while conceding 15 in the process.
Hungarian Cup: Palhalma v Videoton

Wednesday is Hungarian Cup 4th round day, as Vidi travel to county side Palhalma, The game kicks off at 15:00pm against the league leaders of the Fejer county. Palhalma have started their season in great form, winning all of their opening 7 games so far. Their 100% record includes scoring 27 and conceding just 4.

Vidi led at the break when Lazar cut the ball back for Polonkai to sweep the ball in to the corner of the net, with the keeper stranded on his line. The visitors, who were backed up by a large travelling support, looked comfortable and played good passing football in the first 45 minutes. Things got better when Sitku pounced from close range to double the lead. However, FTC fought back and scored twice from two Peter Lipcsei corners. The first found the head of Ferenczi and was adjudged to have crossed the line, while the second ended up at the feet of the unmarked Wolfe to flick in from 5 meters out.

We mentioned recently that both Goran Vujovics and Balazs Farkas II had travelled out to Ulmban in Germany, for special treatment from specialists there.
Draw against ZTE in the League Cup

Videoton - ZTE 1-1 (1-0)League Cup group stageVideoton were in League Cup action on Tuesday evening, when they played out a 1-1 draw against ZTE. The game got off to a quiet start with no major talking points within the first 30 minutes. The action was mainly consigned to the midfield, with the two sides trying to win the personal battles. It was Elek who broke the deadlock just before half time, when he scored to put Vidi one up. However, ZTE were back on level terms on 49 minutes, but that was as far as it got, as the game reverted back to the pattern of the first half.
