Gyereksarok9121965 és 1974 között mindössze két idényben nem szerzett gólt bajnokin a Vidi színeiben a Gantner János kezei által kinevelt Csukovics László. Az egykori ifjúsági válogatott balszélső 40 másodosztályú mérkőzésen lépett pályára és 1967-ben tagja volt az NB I/B-t megnyerő és az élvonalba első ízben feljutó csapatunknak, élete legfontosabb meccsét pedig a Vasas ellen 6-1-re elveszített találkozóval játszotta: 1968-ban ő lőtte klubunk történelmének első NB I-es gólját.
84 első osztályú meccs jutott neki, majd 27 évesen Kaposvárra igazolt.
