Gyereksarok590Álvaro Brachi Barcelonában látta meg a napvilágot, első jelentősebb klubja a Real Betis volt, amelynek B-csapatában 2005 és 2007 között szerepelt. 24 évesen csatlakozott a ciprusi Anorthosis Famagustához, amelyet a 2010-2011-es idényben 24 bajnoki meccsen lépett pályára, de szerepelt együttesével az Európa Liga selejtezőjében is két meccsen, illetve 6 kupameccsen.
Brachira karrierje elején inkább még a középpályán számítottak edzői, ám később a hátvédsorba került. A Vidihez 2011 nyarán igazolt, és azonnal a kezdőben számítottak rá. Megoldást jelentett a jobb oldali védő posztján, de a sokoldalú játékos - ha a helyzet úgy kívánta - remekül megállta a helyét a védelem több más pontján is.
